Laurence Dahners has become one of my all-time favorite authors

I’ve been a science-fiction fan, and a fan of great stories, for many decades. When I find an author that I like this much, whose stories make me feel this good, I buy every book of theirs I can find. After reading the first short story in Six Bits, I was reminded again why I love his stories so much. Terrific motion and adventure that just pulls you through the story, great characters that you really believe in and want to root for, and the best part is that I feel so darn good at the end of the story. Few authors can pull that off well, and even fewer authors can do it consistently. Laurence Dahners does it again and again and again. I hope he sells millions and millions of books so that he can continue to write many more great stories, because I know I’ll reach the point soon where I’ll have read everything of his I can find and I’ll be waiting for the next book.
